But making that dream a reality is a daunting task for everyone involved.

Season 2 gives all of the characters meaty roles to play, so to speak. This isn’t just a journey of self-discovery for Carmy, it’s also transformative for Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Andors Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas), and the rest.

Special Ops: Lioness (2023)

Special Ops: Lioness

Genre Drama
Cast Laysla De Oliveira, Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman
Created by Taylor Sheridan

Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan may have another hit on his hands with Special Ops: Lioness, a new original series on Paramount+. And he definitely has one of the strongest casts in recent memory to back him up. Avatar: The Way of Water‘s Zoe Saldaña headlines the series as Joe, the woman in charge of the U.S.’ secret Lioness program that embeds women in the inner circle of terrorists in order to take them out.

Laysla De Oliveira co-stars as Cruz Manuelos, one of Joe’s latest recruits. But there’s more than a little political intrigue in this terrorist hunt, and Cruz’s cover may be blown. Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman co-star in the series as Kaitlyn Meade and Edwin Mullins, respectively. It’s hard to ask for a higher-caliber cast than that.
