Hulu
Futurama (1999) new
Justified: City Primeval (2023) new
Eight years after Justified finished its six-season run on FX, Timothy Olyphant’s U.S. Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens is back in Justified: City Primeval. Loosely inspired by Elmore Leonard’s City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit, the sequel series finds Raylan living a relatively quiet life in Miami while co-parenting his daughter, Willa (Vivian Olyphant). But when Raylan unexpectedly encounters “The Oklahoma Wildman,” Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), he finds himself drawn into another potentially deadly showdown.
Even Raylan can lose a step with age, and in this business, any hesitation means that Raylan could finally meet his maker.
What We Do in the Shadows (2019)
The fifth season of FX’s quirky vampire comedy, What We Do in the Shadows, has arrived on Hulu. And once again, Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja of Antipaxos (Natasia Demetriou), and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) are up to their vampiric hijinks.
Season 5 kicks off in the aftermath of Nandor’s familiar, Guillermo de la Cruz (Harvey Guillén), leaving his master behind. However, Guillermo’s desire to become a vampire remains unabated. This season will also feature more of The Guide, as Kristen Schaal has been upgraded to a series regular.
The Bear (2022)
The Bear may be the best original show on Hulu, and it’s not even close. This is a series that expertly blends drama and comedy. The great part is that all ten episodes of season 2 have dropped at once. In the new season, Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) has gotten everyone invested in his dream to transform his restaurant, The Beef, into The Bear. But making that dream a reality is a daunting task for everyone involved.
Season 2 gives all of the characters meaty roles to play, so to speak. This isn’t just a journey of self-discovery for Carmy, it’s also transformative for Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Andor‘s Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas), and the rest.
Max (formerly HBO and HBO Max)
Harley Quinn (2019) new

Meanwhile, Harley’s girlfriend, Poison Ivy (Lake Bell), has been handed control of the Legion of Doom, and she’s facing pushback on her agenda of “socially conscious evil.”
While Harley and Ivy have some boundaries in place to keep their new callings separate, there’s no denying that they are now on opposite sides…and that’s inevitably going to blow up in their faces.
My Adventures with Superman (2023)
Movie lovers will have to wait until 2025 to see Superman: Legacy on the big screen. But fans can see a fresh take on the Man of Steel in the new Adult Swim animated series, My Adventures with Superman. In this anime-inspired series, Clark Kent (Jack Quaid) is still very early in his career as Superman when he befriends his fellow Daily Planet interns, Lois Lane (Alice Lee) and Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid).
While Superman’s appearances cause a stir in Metropolis, Lois becomes relentless in her pursuit of getting the scoop on him. Meanwhile, Clark’s on an investigation of his own to learn more about who he is and where he came from.
Warrior (2019)
After a nearly three-year hiatus, Warrior is back for a third season on Max. And things are going poorly for San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th Century. Thanks to the gang war last season, the city is cracking down on Chinese citizens and putting the Hop Wei tong on their heels.
Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) has emerged as an icon to his people after proving himself to them. But now Ah Sahm has to win back the trust of his friend, Young Jun (Jason Tobin), because he knows that Ah Sahm’s sister is Mai Ling (Dianne Doan), the leader of their rival tong, the Long Zii. Although backroom dealings abound in Warrior season 3, the war between the tongs will be fought in the streets with all of the martial arts action that you can handle.

Black Mirror (2011)

Special Ops: Lioness (2023)
Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan may have another hit on his hands with Special Ops: Lioness, a new original series on Paramount+. And he definitely has one of the strongest casts in recent memory to back him up. Avatar: The Way of Water‘s Zoe Saldaña headlines the series as Joe, the woman in charge of the U.S.’ secret Lioness program that embeds women in the inner circle of terrorists in order to take them out.
Laysla De Oliveira co-stars as Cruz Manuelos, one of Joe’s latest recruits. But there’s more than a little political intrigue in this terrorist hunt, and Cruz’s cover may be blown. Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman co-star in the series as Kaitlyn Meade and Edwin Mullins, respectively. It’s hard to ask for a higher-caliber cast than that.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022)
During the glory days of Star Trek, the Enterprise had self-contained adventures every week. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds embraces that episodic storytelling while chronicling the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) and the first crew of the Enterprise.
Season 2 has just premiered, and it forces first officer Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn) to face her past. Meanwhile, there are potential love connections on the Enterprise between Spock (Ethan Peck) and Christine Chapel (Jess Bush), as well as La’an Noonien-Singh (Christina Chong) and the newly arrived James T. Kirk (Paul Wesley).

Disney+
Secret Invasion (2023)

Jackson’s Nick Fury a chance to be serious as he reluctantly returns to Earth to deal with a Skrull rebellion led by Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir).
Fury’s comeback is complicated by the fact that one of Gravik’s most trusted operatives is G’iah (Emilia Clarke), the daughter of his friend and ally, Talos (Ben Mendelsohn).
